U-20 preliminary squad for U-20 Asian Cup Qualifiers announced

U-20 national team head coach Meghraj KC has announced a 25-member preliminary squad for the upcoming U-20 Asian Cup Qualifiers in Bahrain.

Coach KC announced the squad on Wednesday. The team has been training for the tournament at ANFA Complex in Satdobato for the tournament.

The national U-20 side has been drawn alongside Qatar, Bahrain, Bangladesh and Bhutan in the Qualifiers to be held from September 10 to 18.

Nepal will play its first match against Bhutan on September 10 and second match against Qatar on September 12. The third match will be against Bahrain on September 14 and fourth against Bangladesh on September 18.

Goalkeepers: Ishwor Gurung, Unesh Chaudhary, Jiyarat Sheikh, Top Bahadur Rana

Defenders: Amar Shrestha, Ajay Chaudhary, Sumit Shretha, Srijan Dhani, Abhishek Waiba, Jaan Tamli, Shekhar Khawas, Shyanshu Bhusal, Raj Thokar

Midfielders: Dipesh Gurung, Aashish Rai, Sandeep Karki, Janmajay Dhami, Kritish Ratna Chhunju, Sugam Suwal, Managya Nakarmi, Ayush Ghalan, Rakesh Bishwokarma, Sanjeev Lama
