Nepal U23 football team to play Myanmar U23 in Qatar in a friendly; squad announced



Nepal national U23 team will play a friendly match against Myanmar U23 team on 25 October, 2019 in Doha, Qatar.

The match will allow Nepal U23 team practice ahead of this years for South Asian Games (SAG) while Myanmar is preparing for the South East Asian (SEA) Games.

The men’s football team in the SAG are allowed three senior players in the team. 

Commenting on the fixture, Nepal U23 Head coach Bal Gopal Maharjan said, “Exposure match against Myanmar is a good side. It will be a tough challenge and will help us to prepare for the assignments in home (SAG).”  

The Nepal U23 team will leave for Doha on Tuesday morning.
