Team Nepal confident to bounce back ahead of Kuwait clash

Nepal will play Kuwait tomorrow at the Chaglimithang Stadium, Thimpu, Bhutan in their FIFA WC 2022 and AFC Asian Cup China 2023 Qualifiers match.

The Changlimithag Stadium will serve Nepal as the home venue.

"It’s an important game for us. We really need to bounce back. We will fight hard. I need to focus on the players that we have here. My players are in good mood all the way from airport and are ready to fight hard," Head Coach Kalin said in the pre-match press conference.

"We will look for good performance like the other game. Kuwait has been doing very well in the qualifiers but we are confident," he added.

Likewise, head coach of Kuwait football team Thamer Enad said, "We hope that we will play good match and take the three points. We are not going to take Nepal lightly; Nepal is not a weak team. The atmosphere will favor Nepal for sure. They have the same kind of weather in Nepal as well."

"We will play for three points and stand second on the group. Our players are no so familiar playing in the artificial turf but few of my boys have experience playing at the turf," Thamer added.

Nepal's skipper Kiran Kumar Limbu also said the team is ready to give their tough fight against Kuwait.
