National team squad down to 31

Nepali men's national football team squad, currently in closed camp training as part of World Cup Qualifiers preparations, has been reduced to 31 on Friday.

Head coach Bal Gopal Maharjan trimmed his squad for the third time leaving out seven players from the previous 38.

Arpan Karki (GK), Sesehang Aangdembe, Saroj Dahal, Devendra Tamang, Dilen Loktan, Bikash Tamang and Subas Gurung have been left out of the squad.

Goalkeeper Kiran Kumar Limbu and forward Abhishek Rijal are currently out of the country while Devendra Tamang and Suman Aryal both have been placed on medical leave.

Goalkeepers: Bikesh Kuthu, Bishal Shrestha, Deep Karki, Bishal Sunar

Defenders: Rajeen Dhimal, Biraj Maharjan, Bikash Khawash, Ananta Tamang, Chhiring Gurung, Dinesh Rajbanshi, Ajit Bhandari, Suraj BK, Rohit Chand, Nishan Khadka, Palsang Lama

Midfielders: Sujal Shrestha, Bishal Rai, Santosh Tamang, Sunil Bal, Hemant Thapa Magar, Arik Bista, Tej Tamang, Ravi Paswan, Tridev Gurung, Sanjok Rai, Anjan Bista

Forwards: Bharat Khawas, Nawayug Shrestha, Darshan Gurung, Asish Lama, George Prince Karki
