National team forward Sabitra Bhandari returns from Qatar treatment

National women's team forward Sabitra Bhandari has returned home after completing her treatment in Qatar for the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.

Bhandari arrived in Kathmandu on Monday. She was welcomed in the airport by ANFA Vice President Shixit Parajuli, executive committee member Pema Lama and her team mates.

Speaking to media persons at the airport, Bhandari wished to return to her previous form. "I think I need to work harder than before. I hope to get back on the field in the upcoming National Women's League," said Bhandari.

Bhandari was injured in the National Women's League 2078 after landing awkwardly in the match against Nepal Police Club. Bhandari had scored 43 goals in the league and helped her team Armed Police Force win the championship.
